Celebrating Arts in Education for All Ages

National Arts in Education Week is a nationwide celebration recognizing the transformative power of the arts in education and the ways creative learning shapes students’ confidence, critical thinking, and connection to community. At Ross Ragland Theater, we join this celebration with a week of free arts-based activities, workshops, and experiences designed to engage learners of every age and support access to artistic expression.

What to Expect During NAIEW

Each year in September, Ross Ragland Theater hosts a series of arts activities leading up to our NAIEW celebration event. These offerings include one-time arts experiences in visual art, music, theater, dance, and more — all free and designed for participants of all ages.



Whether you’re trying something new, exploring creative curiosity, or connecting with fellow arts lovers, NAIEW is a fun and inclusive way to experience the benefits of arts-based learning.
